    About David Gallaher's Gung Fu Institute in Fort Myers, FL

    At our facility, we offer a variety of martial arts classes for all levels of experience. From beginner to advanced, our trainers specialize in teaching the original martial arts styles of Bruce Lee – Jeet Kune Do and Wing Chun – as well as mixed martial arts for self-defense and fitness. We also offer after-school martial arts programs for children ages 7-14. For those looking to relax and unwind, we offer Ayurveda, Aerial and Acro, and Yin Yoga classes 5 days a week. Our certified instructors will guide you through the different poses and breathing techniques to help you achieve balance and harmony. At our facility, we strive to provide a wide range of classes and activities designed to help you reach your goals. Whether you're looking to get in shape, learn self-defense techniques, or simply relax and unwind, we have something for everyone. So come join us and let us help you reach your goals.

    KIDS MMA

    The Kids MMA program is based on the principles of Jeet Kune Do as developed by Bruce Lee. The class is specifically designed for children ages 7 to 14 years. Some of the philosophies of Jeet Kune Do are simplicity, directness, and economy of motion such that the students learn to “carve away” the inessentials when moving their bodies. Everything the student is taught falls under these criteria so that the martial art the student is learning will be efficient and useful. Students are given the opportunity to apply their skills via closely supervised sparring to see they are actually learning to fight rather than just learning “forms.”

    KIDS AERIAL FUSION

    The Kids Aerial Hammock Fusion class is for ages 8-12 and focuses on zero compression inversions, suspended stretching, and building strong foundational movements.
