About Swinton Community Growing Project

, and in a banana circle. Our food forest is a place to explore and learn about permaculture, edible plants, and the science and art of growing food. SCGP is located in downtown Delray Beach, Florida, and is a permaculture-based project. At 30 N Swinton Ave, visitors can explore the food forest, discovering how caring for plants and the earth can also benefit us. A variety of growing methods and structures are used to address existing air flow, microclimates, and energy in the space. Traditional raised beds, log beds, planting guilds, grow bags, and banana circles are all utilized. By visiting SCGP, families can learn about permaculture, edible plants, and the science and art of growing food.
