Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park is the perfect choice for families looking to explore one of the last remaining undeveloped barrier islands in Southeast Florida. With over two miles of east coast shoreline, the park provides breathtaking views of sand dunes, coastal scrubs, and a variety of native plants and animals. Families will also be able to participate in turtle awareness programs and observe the nesting turtle population, as well as enjoy canoeing and kayaking in Whiskey Creek. SALTY ANGLERS FISHING CAMP

As with ALL Camp Live Oak programs, we are committed to providing a nurturing setting that will enhance a child’s self-worth, confidence, and a profound appreciation of nature. Your child will be taught by experienced and passionate fishermen and women, who not only enjoy fishing but will also, integrate best fishing practices and policies into each session. Twice weekly field trips will take your camper on a variety of fresh and saltwater adventures, including drift boat, pier and shore fishing, and many encounters with Mother Nature!

Summer Teen Eco Experience Program

This teen program features wide variety of activities and fantastic field trips that your teen is sure to love! We offer a multitude of different programs which are flexible with your teens busy summer schedule. The teen summer program is now a weekly program. Register for 3 weeks (regular weeks) or more and receive a Multi-week discount! Discount does not apply to any of the Specialty weeks, including Ocean Quest. This program is ONLY available at Birch State Park.

Scuba Diving Camp

Learn the basics of scuba diving in a pool setting or explore the magnificent waters off of the Ft. Lauderdale coast! Facilitated by Sea Experience, they offer two great scuba diving programs for campers 8 to 16! Programs will be lead by Sea Experience, a leader in Fort Lauderdale’s scuba diving instruction and tours for the past 20 years. The following programs are offered this summer:
