About Boca Raton Public Library

The Boca Raton Public Library is a valuable resource for the community and its two facilities serve the residents of Boca Raton, Florida. Boca Raton, which was incorporated in 1925, is one of the largest and southernmost cities in Palm Beach County, Florida. When the library initially opened in 1925, it was managed by volunteers and the collection was developed from generous donations. Sadly, the library closed in 1926 and the collection was donated to a local elementary school. Today, the Boca Raton Public Library is an important part of the community, providing access to books, periodicals, educational materials, and other resources to the citizens of Boca Raton. The library also hosts various programs and events, such as book discussions, literacy classes, and story times, to promote literacy and foster community engagement.
