Through the generous and continual efforts of our members, the Squadron has grown and prospered in spite of modest fees.  As a result, we have been able to offer a wide variety of sailing activities, outstanding facilities, and planned growth.  We strive to continue this trajectory of success and believe that the ‘hands-on’ involvement of our members is an essential part of this. 

The members of the Squadron are dedicated to carrying out the mission of promoting and facilitating sailing and related activities.  Their willingness to give their time and energy is the cornerstone of the organization and creates a strong sense of community and belonging.  We are thankful for their dedication and are confident that the Squadron will continue to be a safe, enjoyable, and valuable place for sailors of all levels to come and enjoy the sport we love.

TSS Youth Sailing, Inc., is a federal 501(c)(3) charity and a Florida nonprofit organization.  We offer summer sailing classes for youth ages 7-17 of all skill levels.  Our classes are held at our host organization, the Tampa Sailing Squadron, and are led by U.S. Sailing certified instructors.  Visit our website for more information!

TSS Youth Sailing

Sea Scouting is a coed outdoor program for young adults  14 - 20 years old and their adult advisors.  Discover the resources that make Sea Scouting the place to be. You can learn to sail, to row, and to keep a boat in shape;  you can cruise local waters or go sailing on long cruises far from home.  You can learn to Scuba dive and take care of boats. 
You'll be active in camping, social events, tours, regattas, excursions, and seamanship contests.  You'll also have a chance to develop maritime skills that can lead to careers later on.
