About The Rock House School of Music in West Haven, CT
At Rock House School of Music, learning music is a social event. From our Little Rockers classes for kids 4-7 to our private lessons in guitar, voice, piano/keyboard, bass guitar, drums, and ukulele, students have the opportunity to learn the styles of music they love. With award-winning curriculum from our talented and experienced teachers, our students learn to play the songs they love. To show off their new skills, Rock House School of Music offers a Youth Open Mic every month and a Rock House Talent Showcase. Students can either perform with their peers in a band or play along with tracks to put on an amazing show for family and friends. At Rock House School of Music, learning music is a fun and social experience.

Guitar Lessons
Our award-winning Curriculum consists of a three-book series that starts from the first time a student sees a guitar and takes you to the most advanced level for acoustic or electric guitar and all genres of music. Learn chords, rhythms, song progressions, scales, melodies, lead techniques, and complete songs. Throughout each book, students are asked to play examples and apply what they are learning musically which makes playing guitar fun. Use the audio demonstrations, the full band backing tracks, and online lesson support to create a completely effective learning experience.

Learning piano has never been so fun and exciting! Learn how to read music, proper technique, scales, chords, theory, and complete songs.
