BeAKid
Young Mariners Academy
Leadership, Teamwork, Learning, Sailing, Community Young Mariners Academy is a unique summer enrichment experience for students entering grades 6-9. There is a strong emphasis on sailing instructions to encourage teamwork, leadership and learning while promoting a close sense of community. In addition to sailing the students learn about navigation, marine life, weather, and tides and how these key sailing skills relate to school subjects such as math, reading, science, geography, and writing.

After-School at SoundWaters The SoundWaters Fall Adventure Series programs provide students with an after-school opportunity to get outside and have fun on and near the water, socialize with their peers, and engage in dynamic science learning focused on the Long Island Sound.
