Horizons Summer Camp has been offering a unique summer experience since 1979. With eight weeks of camp available each summer, campers have the opportunity to explore a variety of activities, including horseback riding, swimming, boating, arts, health and fitness, drama, performing arts, pioneering, music, language arts, and physical education. Under the guidance of experienced and knowledgeable instructors, campers learn and grow in a comfortable environment.
The camp features cabins for campers and counselors to bunk together, as well as acres of trees and open space, complete with a waterfront with a sandy beach, docks, and boats. These features provide the perfect backdrop for campers to make new friends and create lasting memories.
Offers group sports and games such as soccer, basketball, and throwing and catching skills
which are excellent leisure time activities and enhance hand-eye coordination. Partner exercises aid campers in
learning how to organize their body space as well as share space with others. Campers learn skills of the game,
teamwork, hand-eye coordination, and body awareness.
