About Sew Create & Celebrate

Welcome to Sew Create & Celebrate, where kids, teens, and adults of all ages can join together for some sewing fun in Fairfield County! Our classes are designed to accommodate your busy schedule, with daytime, afterschool, weekend, school break, and summer vacation offerings. Plus, we have something special for those special occasions: Sewing and Craft Birthdays! Are you a beginner looking for a place to start? Our experienced instructors will guide you through the basics of sewing, from threading a needle to mastering the sewing machine and creating your own projects. We’ll also help you select the right fabrics and notions to make sure your projects turn out just the way you want them. Sew Create & Celebrate is the perfect place to get creative and have some fun! Whether you’re a beginner or experienced sewist, you’ll find something to enjoy in our classes. Join us today and start making memories that will last a lifetime!

Sewing Lessons
Students learn to use the machine at about age 7. After learning the basics, they proceed to simple projects which build their skills and confidence one item at a time. Lessons are held once a week for an hour and a half and include materials for the first 3 lessons. We have students who have taken multiple lessons and gone on to sewing their clothes, costumes, home furnishings, even starting a business or going to study at FIT. Let us know your goals and plans for sewing!
