At Camp Washington, we believe that every child deserves a safe, brave space to explore and grow. We emphasize personal involvement, education, and creativity, in order to create a place where our campers and staff can draw closer to God and discover His abundant love. Our campers can relax and recharge, surrounded by the beauty of God's creation, while feeling the inclusivity of a supportive community. We strive to create a community where children and staff, through teamwork, individual exploration and worship, can grow closer to God, as revealed in Jesus Christ. At Camp Washington we promote the enjoyment of nature through education and creativity, the strength of a community based on both togetherness and independence, and the ability to enable each person towards the recognition of their responsibility as stewards of God’s creation.
