Friends of Brooksvale Park, Inc. is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization founded to benefit the citizens of Hamden, Connecticut and the greater surrounding area. The goal of the organization is to provide environmental education, preserve and maintain the integrity of the park’s resources, and to serve as an advocate for the park. The organization is organized under the laws of the State of Connecticut and has no stockholders. Through the work of Friends of Brooksvale Park, Inc., citizens of the greater Hamden area will benefit from environmental education, protection, and advocacy for the park. The organization works to preserve the park’s natural and cultural resources, ensuring that the park remains a resource for the entire community. Brooksvale Recreation Park Program

There will be games and craft activities for the kids near the barnyard and some hot cocoa too! Stop by the Sugar Shack which will be transformed into a Smithy. The Blacksmith’s craft is as old as time and watching how something as simple as a coat hook is made is just as fascinating as iron gates gracing many a mansion. The animals will be wearing their winter coats so don’t forget to dress warmly as well. All the activities will be held outside so you may need boots too
