Cindy Stevens grew up in Connecticut and has lived in Clinton with her husband, Gary, for 38 years. She has two grown children, and six beautiful grandchildren, and comes from a family of artists. Her mom, Shirley Price, was a pen and ink artist, and her brother and sister both paint professionally. Cindy has owned and operated Snow’s Block Frame Gallery in her home for 24 years and opened her own art studio in downtown Clinton in May of 2014.
Cindy’s had an affinity for art and creative projects through the years while raising children: she painted play sets for the local theatre group and taught after school art at a few schools in Clinton. She studied watercolor painting for a few years and discovered her love of oil painting a little later in life after trying a plein air workshop in Maine with her sister.
