The Conejo Recreation and Park District has grown significantly since its founding over 50 years ago. Today, it serves more than 350,000 residents from Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, and Newbury Park with over 1,800 acres of parks, facilities, and open spaces, as well as hundreds of recreational programs and special events. The District has made a tremendous impact on the quality of life in the Conejo Valley, and its commitment to providing residents with quality parks, recreation, and open space has continued to be its primary focus.

Clay Studio + Gallery Inc. in Thousand Oaks, CA is the perfect place to spend a creative afternoon. With two formally trained artists, Esther and Ali Alinejad, Clay Studio offers a variety of classes for all ages. Esther has been teaching for 30 years, and holds a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MFA from the University of Arizona. Ali holds a BFA from the University of Paris, France VIII. At Clay Studio, classes are offered for adults, children/teens, and private classes. This supportive and non-competitive atmosphere is sure to bring out everyone's inner artist. Learn the basics of pottery wheel throwing and hand building with clay. Or, take a more advanced class to hone your skills. In addition to classes, Clay Studio also houses a gallery space.
