The Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clara Valley is a vital organization that has been serving the community since 1949. Founded by the Santa Paula Police Department, the Club initially only catered to boys but opened its doors to girls in 1968. This organization provides access to safe and supervised activities that help children develop into responsible, productive, and caring citizens. The Club offers programs in five core areas: character & leadership development; educational & career development; health & life skills; the arts; and sports, fitness, and recreation. With ten sites located in Santa Paula, Fillmore, and Piru, the Club provides a safe and enriching environment for children to spend their after-school, school recess, evening, and weekend hours. Currently, over 1,650 youth and community members benefit from the Club’s offerings.
