SUMMER TECH CAMPS: IN-PERSON AGES 7-14

Digital Dragon’s summer camp program will have kids working and creating in Game Design, Roblox, Digital Production, Digital Illustration, and a suite of Minecraft camps – Minecraft: Puzzles, Survival Island, and Minecraft: SMP.

Roblox: World Building and 3D Game Design!

Let your imagination run wild and build your very own world in Roblox. Students will use Roblox Studio, a game development platform, to explore and create worlds in a 3D space that they will fill with interactive game elements. They will use simple 3D shapes to model and texture set pieces and use the Lua programming language to code simple game interactions. Kids can also discover and test games from other creators in their special studio.

Minecraft: Redstone Engineering: Civilization Building and Escap

Do you like Minecraft or do you love Minecraft? Are diamonds, pickaxes, pigs, and sheep keeping you up at night? We will help you take your love for Steve and your irritation for the Creepers to the next level. You will learn to survive the night, farm for food, make tools, and engineer with redstone. Expand your empire and vision by modding the game to make a vibrant and unique new world for your mining pleasure. Create everything from new textures, creatures, machines, and maps. We’ll also introduce kids to logic gates and MCEdit, introducing gateway concepts to programming and steering kids towards digital creation.
