About Angels Gate Cultural Center in San Pedro, CA
The Angels Gate Cultural Center (AGCC) has been working hard to meet the cultural needs of the Southern California community since the 1970s. Founded by a group of San Pedro artists, AGCC began as a collection of artist studios and exhibition spaces housed within 1940s-era Army barracks in Angels Gate Park. Today, the Center offers a full calendar of gallery exhibitions and community classes throughout the year.
What's more, the AGCC provides professional work-studio space for 52 artists, including musicians, ceramists, painters, sculptors, writers, photographers, printmakers, and jewelers. The Center's experienced staff is committed to providing these talented creatives with the space and resources they need to bring their art to life.
Ultimately, the Angels Gate Cultural Center is a place for the community to come together and appreciate the power of creativity. Through its exhibitions, classes, and artist studios, AGCC is dedicated to nurturing and celebrating the arts.
