About Exploring Music - San Jose

Are you ready to get your young musician started this summer? Exploring Music's Summer Sessions in San Francisco are the perfect opportunity to dive into music and make great progress in just one week. With daily playing and practice for 90 minutes each day from Monday to Friday, your child will receive intensive hands-on coaching and practice during each class. Not only can your child learn a lifetime of music in just one week, but they can also attend either or both sessions during the week. Keyboard/Ukulele Ages 4 – 7
For beginners. Get started with the basics of playing piano or ukulele, including rhythm, basic notes and correct posture and playing positions. Kids will be playing songs by the end of the week.

Yamaha Music Education
Exploring Music is proud to present Yamaha Group Music Lessons for young beginners! The Yamaha Music Education Program at Exploring Music consists of a 6-year structured curriculum aimed at pre-school and school aged children. The music education system focuses on children expressing their creativity through performance and composition. Our school offers group music instructions – based on the piano – for beginners age 3-8. The curriculum includes singing, repertoire, ear training, music appreciation, ensemble playing etc.

Band/Ensemble
For players with over a year’s experience, spend an intense week playing in an ensemble! Open for wind instruments, guitar, bass, keyboard and drums.
