The Japanese Cultural and Community Center of Northern California (JCCCNC) is a dedicated organization committed to providing the highest level of service to the Japanese American community. With an impressive board of directors, the JCCCNC has become a leader in meeting the ever-changing needs of its community. Through their various programs, services, and support, the JCCCNC has made it their mission to ensure the Japanese American community always has the resources and support they need. 

The JCCCNC has also been a major supporter of other local service organizations. With their 501(c)3 nonprofit status, the JCCCNC has access to a variety of resources and facilities to help facilitate the mission of these organizations. The JCCCNC is proud to offer administrative and financial support to ensure these organizations are able to reach their goals and provide the best possible services to the community.

Join the Ito Yosakoi Dance Group's weekly classes to learn the lively, energetic dance style of Yosakoi dancing! Yosakoi dancing features choreographed group dances with traditional movements mixed with modern, uptempo music to make for a captivating dance style that is growing in popularity in Japan and abroad! No dance experience is necessary. Class members have the option of dancing with the class recreationally, or learning the group's repertoire to perform in public, including at local festivals like Cherry Blossom Festival and the Center's annual Children's Day Festival!

Yosakoi Dancing with Ito Yosakoi Dance Group (hybrid)

Emphasis of the class will be primarily on Hawaiian song traditions. Approach to playing the ukulele focuses on the basic chords and rhythmic strumming technique. This class is open to all levels.
