Rodrigo Medeiros has been a pioneering figure in the world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over two decades. His journey began in 1993 when he opened his first Academy, Nova Geração, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, as an instructor affiliated with Carlson Gracie's Academy. In 1996, Carlson Gracie invited Rodrigo to be part of the new and potential moment of Jiu-Jitsu in North America, so Rodrigo moved to Los Angeles, California. After three years, he opened his own Academy in La Habra, forming a new team of competitors and students and creating many Champions. In 2000, Rodrigo moved to San Diego and opened his second Academy in the United States at the Pacific Beach Fight Center. Over the years, he has built a strong competitive team, forming more than 30 black belts across Brazil, the United States, and Europe. His students have achieved an impressive number of accolades, including over 200 national championships, 100 PanAm's championships, and multiple World Championships. Through his dedication to teaching and mentoring, Rodrigo Medeiros has become a leader in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
