About reCREATE in Roseville, CA

ReCreate is helping to shape the future of the greater Sacramento region, one classroom at a time. Through innovative STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) learning programs, students in preschool through high school are given the opportunity to explore and create with high-tech tools and reuse materials. ReCreate believes that by inspiring a passion for STEAM, we can foster a more vibrant community and empower our students to become a strong and capable workforce. In addition to providing educational STEAM programs, ReCreate also offers Sort Smart and Recycle Right waste reduction education to schools in the region. This is aimed at helping to further sustain and protect the environment, while teaching the importance of responsible waste management. ReCreate is dedicated to providing low-cost, high-impact learning and enrichment programs to the students throughout the greater Sacramento region. By inspiring a passion for STEAM, we can help create a more vibrant community that supports our future workforce. Through their innovative programs, ReCreate is helping to shape the future of Sacramento, one classroom at a time.

More Art, Less Waste - Environmental Education Program

ReCreate is pleased to announce that Sacramento County’s Department of Waste Management & Recycling – SacGreenTeam -- has again chosen ReCreate to provide waste reduction education programs to students, grades 2-4 for the 2022-2023 school year. The presentation includes important information about how to sort smart and recycle right.

GeniusMobile STEAM Lessons

ReCreate delivers hands-on, project-based learning in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math. We empower our region's students to learn vital skills necessary to compete in and lead the 21st-century workforce while encouraging inquiry-based learning and maker mindset values. We believe all students in our region should have the opportunity for memorable learning experiences in the areas of STEAM, as this increases interest and the likelihood of students pursuing these career tracks. ReCreate breaks down learning barriers to making, technology literacy, and collaboration via our mobile classroom program. We integrate technology with reuse materials to provide high-impact maker education at a low cost. Simultaneously we annually divert over 60 tons of materials, no longer needed by regional businesses, from entering our waste stream.

Girl Scout and Cub Scout Programs

Girl Scouts can earn an array of badges from all levels. Cub Scouts can call us and arrange for custom programs tailored to achievements. Registration minimum is 6* or 8* participants, maximum is 12.
