Since 1995, Oceanside Museum of Art (OMA) has been a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing people together to explore the art and stories of Southern California artists. With dynamic and robust exhibitions, visitors can experience a fresh and exciting visual experience nearly every visit. OMA offers an array of programs for all ages, from youth education programs, adult art classes, music, films, and creative community parties and events, visitors can stimulate their imagination, learn new ideas, and challenge the familiar in an inviting atmosphere.

Literacy Through Art (LTA)
In partnership with the Oceanside Public Library, Literacy Through Art (LTA) teaches 3rd grade students literacy skills by closely observing and engaging with real works of art. The program uses informal learning techniques used in libraries and museums to strengthen and complement classroom teacher’s literacy instruction.
