At UAC, we believe that summer camp should be a meaningful and unique experience. Children are free to explore and discover in a safe and stimulating environment. Our programs take children on educational field trips to the best museums, science centers and parks in the Bay Area. Qualified instructors with subject knowledge and experience working with children lead our programs, providing an in-depth source of information for students. We strive to create a summer camp experience that will be both fun and educational, giving your child an opportunity to follow their own interests and discover new ones.

At Urban Adventure Camps we designed our Active Camps for the camper that just wants to get out and do stuff.  The Active series of camps is the best way to get out there and try a number of different activities from what we believe are the best providers in the Bay Area.  As with all of our camps, campers get to learn how to explore and navigate the city and urban areas in a safe way that promotes confidence.

Active Camps

At Urban Adventure Camps we love to explore and visit the “Best of the Bay Area” museums, science centers and urban attractions.  The Explorer series of camps is the best way to get out there and experience, see, and learn.  Weeks are subject oriented and we have picked out excursions that we believe give our campers the best experience that there is to offer. As with all of our camps, campers get to learn how to explore and navigate the city and urban areas in a safe way that promotes confidence.

Explorer Camps

Have you ever seen a hippopotamus up close or touched an orange ochre sea star? Do you know the names of the three largest birds on the planet? What animals live the San Francisco Bay? In this camp you will learn all about the natural world around us. There will be plenty of opportunities to see giant giraffes, touch slimy sea cucumbers, and witness birds soar over your head as you venture into the rain forest. Nature abounds when you join us for Biology/Natural Science camp at UAC.

 Urban Adventure Camp

My kids look forward to this camp every year. Not only do they have fun every day, but they are also learning how to use public transportation and move around the Bay Area without a car, which I hope they will carry with them into adulthood. Thank you for providing a consistently excellent camp experience!
