At Peralta Hacienda Historical Park in Oakland's Fruitvale, we strive to bring people together to understand, celebrate, and appreciate the diverse cultures that have been and continue to be part of California's vibrant identity. Our goal is to foster greater equity, environmental resilience, and a sense of belonging for all.
Through our exhibits, events, and youth and community programs, we create a platform to heal historical wounds, take care of the land we depend on, and engage in civic life. By doing so, we hope to provide a model for other communities throughout the United States.

BeAKid
ACE Camp 2023
Our FREE 3-week program activates young brains and bodies with Arts, Culture, and Earth studies. At ACE Camp, youth explore nature and go on urban safaris, learn cooperation via group play and games, and discover a world of cultures through art-making and storytelling. Campers get excited about being in nature, learning and helping them build positive relationships with other campers, staff, and the Earth. ACE Camp is free for youth ages 5–15.

School Field Trips
School Field Trips at Peralta Hacienda Historical Park are intended to offer experiences too big for the classroom. Every element of our Field Trips tie into social studies curriculum and use hands-on activities to excite curiosity in students.
