About Northridge Recreation Center

Our staff is dedicated to facilitating a safe and enjoyable park experience for all visitors. The Department of Recreation and Parks is a key part of the City of Los Angeles' commitment to preserving the natural beauty and recreational opportunities for all to enjoy. We manage 16,000 acres of parkland at 559 park sites throughout the city, from the San Fernando Valley to the Pacific. We provide a wide range of recreational, social and cultural programs designed to benefit everyone from young kids to seniors. Our staff works tirelessly to ensure that all visitors have a safe and enjoyable experience in our parks.
