O.J. Amaya, a Class A PGA Professional golf instructor, is making a name for himself in the San Diego area. With over 25 years of experience, O.J. has developed a passion for teaching golf to young children ages 6-12. He has created a Junior Golf Academy that utilizes the US Kids Golf Player Pathway as a framework and utilizes Chula Vista Golf Course’s PGA Family Tees to take the kids out on the golf course. His weekly Junior Clinics are so popular that they are regularly sold out. O.J. is the only teaching professional in the South Bay to field a PGA Jr League Golf team since the program’s inception in 2012. To get there, start off by taking Otay Lakes Road east off of either the 805 or 125 and make a right onto Hunte Parkway. At the first light, take a left onto King Creek Way. The first stop sign you'll see is North Creekside Drive - turn left here and you'll be on the right path! As you continue, the street will turn right and the fields will be on your left. The EastLake Trails neighborhood is home to the EastLake Little League's main fields - Majors, Minors, and TeeBall.
