At Waterworks Aquatics Carlsbad, we believe that swimming is an important life skill that everyone should learn. Through our unique muscle memory teaching technique and child-centered approach, we ensure that our students learn how to swim at a quick rate. We also strive to motivate and inspire a life-long love for swimming, water safety, and continual development at every swimming level. Our instructors and families work together to instill confidence in our students and ensure that they develop a love for swimming that lasts a lifetime.

Summer Swim Camps

The summer break provides young children the perfect opportunity to hone their swimming skills. Our half-day, week-long summer swim camps held at our indoor Carlsbad facility provide the perfect setting to improve stroke technique on the four competitive strokes. Our trained instructors will help your child with stroke technique, speed, breathing, dives, and turns. They will also play games with the students for the last 30-45 minutes of each daily session. Students are also provided with a daily snack and juice.

Recreational Swimming

Recreational swimming at Waterworks Aquatics Carlsbad gives families the perfect opportunity to enjoy our indoor heated pool with family and friends. Our rec swim sessions are held in our indoor lap pool heated to 88 degrees year-round. For young swimmers, recreational swimming is ideal for strengthening their swimming skills and showing their family what they have learned in the pool. We invite attendees to further explore the year-round programs we offer for swimmers of all ages and abilities.

Swim Teams

Our youth swim teams in Carlsbad help to strengthen swimming foundations for children while also providing a team environment that fosters lifelong friendships. Youth swim teams place a focus on improving swimming skills, physical conditioning, and mastering specific strokes while preparing students for competition level swimming. Team practices and swim meets are held year-round. We group students by age and ability level, providing a fun and welcoming environment for all.
