They offer various classes and workshops, such as painting, drawing, photography, and sculpture, as well as special events and exhibitions. CW Art Center is a non-profit organization that gives art education to local schools, non-profit youth organizations, and under-served communities. Founded in 2010 by a group of professional artists and educators, the Center received formal recognition from the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in August 2014. The "Create the Future" foundation was launched in 2016 to provide art education to these communities through the "Art Bridge" program. CW Art Center is a part of East LA's lively art scene.
