About Tomorrow Youth Repertory in Alameda, CA
Jordan Best, Amy Marie Haven, and Tyler Null started Tomorrow Youth Repertory (TYR) in the summer of 2011. As an independent non-profit since 2012, TYR has been dedicated to providing an unparalleled youth theater experience for kids of all experience levels. With individual attention and a full theater experience, TYR has served hundreds of students in the Alameda, CA area with their weekly theater production classes every fall and spring. At these classes, kids not only have the opportunity to gain valuable life skills, but they also get to have fun and let their imaginations run wild. After 10 to 12 weeks, the kids put on a show for their friends and family, complete with lights, sets, and costumes. This is a great way to keep kids both entertained and challenged, and TYR prides themselves on giving every student an amazing experience.

Into The Woods (Incoming grades 7 & up)
Man, Bianca has a lot of suitors. The elderly Gremio, the scheming Hortensio, and now this new kid Lucentio. Everyone just seems to want to marry Bianca. However, Biana's father, Baptista, isn't so keep on this idea. And he sets up a rule that Bianca can marry no one until her elder sister Kate gets hitched. No problem, right? Wrong. Because Kate has a history - she has chewed up and spit out every suitor that has ever come calling. Enter Petruchio - an old friend of Hortensio and a man who likes a challenge. Petruchio accepts the job of courting Kate, and sets about trying to drive her mad as a way of 'taming' the woman. With Petruchio and Kate engaged in a war of wills, the suitors of Bianca scheme and try to outflank one another, and manipulations and deceptions fly about wildly. But who is really manipulating whom? And do even the schemers have any idea of who is in control?
