Team Silva Martial Arts Academy has been providing exceptional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction in the Bay Area since 2000. Their state-of-the-art facility in Alameda offers a variety of classes for all ages, from toddlers to seniors. They offer a diverse range of programs including their After School Martial Arts Program, Toddlers Samurai Martial Arts, Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Kids Martial Arts and Life Skills program, Teens Anti Bullying, Adult Martial Arts, Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for Competition, and Self-Defense Workshops. At the helm of Team Silva is Professor Sergio Silva, a 4th Degree Black Belt in BJJ and a Black Belt in Judo. He is a former World Champion in Submission Wrestling and a multiple-time National and International Champion in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). He has been practicing martial arts for over 36 years and teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over 32 years.
