At Teens take Over…Collective brain power shines at monthly meetings where you’ll strategize, organize, and bring your vision to life! You’ll direct an event that will captivate your fellow Girl Scouts. Themes and adventures change each year. Be part of the driving force in creating this action-packed event for younger Girl Scouts.

TTO SJ (Teens Take Over San Jose)

Juniors and Cadettes will begin by practicing the art of forensic drawing by sketching a “suspect” as described by a “key witness.” Next, they learn how to obtain and analyze fingerprints from a crime scene. Finally, participants explore the role of DNA in forensics — what it is, what it does and how it helps solve crimes. They then get to perform an experiment to extract real DNA!
