SEASONED SAILING ( 8 -12 years old)

This course is for the returning or intermediate sailor who has mastered the basics taught in our Discover Sailing course. Seasoned sailors starts with a quick review, then transitions into intermediate skills such as close-quarters boat handling, sail theory, navigation, and distance sailing. As with all of our programs, the primary emphasis is on fun and safety on the water. Seasoned Sailing combines sailing with shore-side sailing-related S.T.E.M. activities. There is an emphasis on taking a leadership role and watching out for the safety of your fellow sailors, too! Sailors gain confidence and pride as their skills improve and as they move towards independence on the water.

The possibilities are endless and the experience is one of a kind.
