Camp Keystone

On the hunt for FUN summer day camps for preschool kids and young children? Trying to find summer activities for your little one, but having no success finding summer camps for 3-5 year olds? Look no further than Camp Keystone’s Junior Camp in Agoura Hills! Based on our years of experience in the camp industry, we know some summer kids camps for five year olds are actually designed for older kids, but younger kids are allowed into the programs anyway for lack of a better place for them. And if your child is even younger, you might experience the opposite problem at typical summer day camps for 3-4 year olds, where your kids are a little too old for the programs designed for even younger children. This happens because many summer camps start at the age of 6, so summer kids camps for five year olds sometimes end up just assuming these kids will be fine with older children. At Camp Keystone, we disagree with this common assumption. Every age and stage of childhood should have an opportunity to be involved in camp, and we don’t want anyone to be made to feel too old or too young to have a great time! Our Junior Camp is specifically designed for the 3-5 year old age group, so you will always know your child is in the right program for their age!

Looking for the best outdoor day camps for 6-12 year olds near Agoura Hills, CA? Look no further than Camp Keystone! We are proud to fit the bill!

Finding good summer camps for 13-15 year olds can be a big challenge! Every teenager is different, and many day camps for thirteen year olds exclude older teens, or, day camps for 15 year olds are only made for teens 15 through 18, meaning many 15 year olds feel out of place among older teenagers. That’s where Camp Keystone’s CILT camp in Agoura Hills, CA, comes in! The CILT, or Camp In Leadership Training, program is specifically designed for training for camp counseling. In fact, one of the largest groups of people attending our CILT camp are former campers themselves. There’s no better place for training for camp counseling than at the camp you have known and loved throughout childhood! CILTs get the best of both worlds. They spend part of their day helping a Senior Counselor with a young camper group and learning what it takes to be a counselor, and spend the other part of their day doing their favorite camp activities with their peers! What also makes Camp Keystone’s CILT program stand out from others is the amount of hands on experience these budding counselors receive. We want our CILTS to leave the program with enough new experience and skills to confidently add to a job application or resume. Most places won’t hire teenagers until they’re 16. Camp Keystone’s CILT program is a great way for this age group to get ahead of the competition and start building work ethics, responsibility, and leadership skills that will prepare them for future careers and life experience!
