Camp Seale Harris, founded in 1949 and administered by the 501(c)(3) organization SDES, is dedicated to providing a safe and fun camping experience for children and teens with diabetes. As a founding member of the Diabetes Education and Camping Association and an accredited member of the American Camp Association, Camp Seale Harris meets over 300 standards for health, safety, and program quality. With trained counselors and medical staff on-site, campers can learn and practice independence in managing their diabetes and making healthy decisions. Camps also feature a variety of fun activities and provide family-oriented recreation programs throughout the year. This camp was renamed WorldSong Missions Place in order to reflect our mission and ministry purpose as stated in Psalm 96:1,3: "Sing to the Lord, all the world...Tell of His glory among the nations. At WorldSong Missions Place, girls have the opportunity to grow in their faith and make lasting friendships while having fun in the great outdoors. Through a variety of activities such as swimming, ziplining, canoeing, and arts and crafts, campers learn about teamwork, leadership, and resilience, as well as develop a closer relationship with God.
