About WorldSong Missions Place in COOK SPRINGS, AL
For 60 years, Alabama WMU has provided camping experiences for girls at Shocco Springs and Cook Springs. In 1990, due to an increasing number of campers, WMU purchased a 344-acre camp at Cook Springs, east of Birmingham. This camp was renamed WorldSong Missions Place in order to reflect our mission and ministry purpose as stated in Psalm 96:1,3: "Sing to the Lord, all the world...Tell of His glory among the nations. At WorldSong Missions Place, girls have the opportunity to grow in their faith and make lasting friendships while having fun in the great outdoors. Through a variety of activities such as swimming, ziplining, canoeing, and arts and crafts, campers learn about teamwork, leadership, and resilience, as well as develop a closer relationship with God.

This session is a great camping experience for girls and boys. Leaders are welcome to attend with their campers; however, they are not required. Leader space is limited. Each group will be allowed up to 2 leaders.

Get the full, week-long camp experience just for girls featuring everything WorldSong Missions Adventure Camp has to offer. Girls get the whole campus for themselves! This session features activities for all ages, as well as special activities specifically crafted for each age level!

The Cabin Leader in Training (CIT) program offers mentorship and experience for those who are interested in becoming a cabin leader in the future.
