    The Potter's Shop in Waukesha, Wisconsin is a family-friendly destination for all ages and skill levels. Our 7,000-square-foot facility offers pottery classes, workshops, corporate events, birthday parties, and more. With 16 pottery wheels, a slab roller, and an extruder, plus a spray booth and electric kilns, we have all the equipment you need to create beautiful pottery pieces. Our chemical room is fully stocked and our teaching facility is spacious. Plus, we offer flexible scheduling so you can fit pottery classes into your busy life. Kids can enjoy birthday parties, scout events, summer camps, and after-school classes. Whether you're a novice or an experienced potter, The Potter's Shop in Waukesha, Wisconsin has something for everyone.

    Try out the potter's wheel for a fun birthday party, or girl scout/boy scout pottery badge outing! We'll provide materials, demonstration, and instruction. We can accommodate groups of 6-9 kids ages 10 and up.

    Beginner Pottery Wheel

    Have you always wanted to learn the basics of throwing clay on the pottery wheel? Beginning students will learn how to center a ball of clay and shape it into various objects. Students with previous experience will learn techniques to make more complicated forms and hone in their skills. This class is a great opportunity for students of all levels to explore clay on the potter’s wheel in a fun and creative atmosphere. For ages 15 and up, or ages 12-14 with accompanying adult.
