For over six decades, ARCh Camp Pow Wow has been dedicated to providing outdoor recreational activities for individuals with disabilities. Campers benefit from a range of activities, such as swimming, fishing, canoeing, gardening, fitness, life skills, arts and crafts, recreation, music, and nature. Through these activities, campers are able to foster friendships and develop new skills.
The ARCh Camp Pow Wow's programs are designed to promote the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of its campers, while also helping to increase prevention and awareness in the community. The Association for the Rights of Citizens with handicaps strives to empower individuals with disabilities to reach their full potential, and the camp is an essential part of achieving this goal.
For more than sixty years, ARCh Camp Pow Wow has provided a safe and supportive environment for adults and children with disabilities to explore their interests and develop their skills. From swimming and fishing to arts and crafts, campers are provided with a wide variety of activities to choose from. Through these activities, campers are able to create lasting relationships, learn valuable life skills, and gain a greater appreciation for the outdoors.
