At American Dojo, our mission is to empower our members to reach their full potential in life through martial arts. Our founder, Dean Konley, founded the school in 1994 with the goal of providing families and individuals with the life-changing power of martial arts training. We offer innovative and systematic programs for kids, adults and families, with the focus of helping our members to Belong, Believe and Achieve. Our service-driven approach to martial arts instruction ensures that we are always striving to improve and provide the highest quality of training. Lil-Kickers (Ages 4 to 5)

It features 12 important life-skills & foundations of martial arts taught within an age-specific curriculum that is fun & engaging. Lil-Kickers Kids gives your child the tools to succeed at home and in school. Each week your child will build their confidence while learning life skills such as focus, teamwork, respect, and discipline. They’ll gain valuable awareness of their body through fun martial arts exercises & obstacle course challenges that build strength, agility, and balance. You’ll feel more comfortable knowing that they can act safely as they practice what to do when faced with a bully or stranger.

Youth Martial Arts Program (Ages 7 to 12)

It’s widely known that children who study martial arts do better in school, have greater social & emotional intelligence, and are more focused on setting and achieving goals. Martial Arts training at American Dojo offers kids a physically challenging activity in an emotionally supportive environment where they feel they BELONG. Our positive reinforcement approach helps them to BELIEVE that anything is possible, which ignites a passion to ACHIEVE worthy goals…. both on the mat, at home, in school, and out in the community.
