    About Eau Claire YMCA Camp Manitou in New Auburn, WI

    At Camp Manitou, we offer a wide variety of outdoor activities for children entering grades 2-10. From swimming and boating to large group games, campers will have the chance to learn new skills, make lifelong friends, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Our unique Mud Hike is a camp tradition since the 1940s and gives campers the chance to explore the outdoors and have fun while getting a bit muddy. Camp Manitou is the perfect place for your child to explore the outdoors, learn new skills, and make lasting friendships. Come join us and learn more about our camp and all the fun activities we have to offer!

    Main Camp | Entering grades 3 - 7

    Campers develop new skills, play games and build great friendships. Campers gain confidence, self-reliance, and an appreciation for the outdoors.

    Sailing Camp Grades 5-9

    This program is for campers who are excited to sail. All levels of ability have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge of sailing. Campers practice on our Butterfly sailboat and then expand to larger boats in our fleet, including a Hobie 16 and C-Scow. Additionally, campers spend some time each day participating with the Main Camp activities.

    Fall Camp | Grades 3-6

    Come enjoy the beautiful autumn weather up at Camp Manitou! We will jump in the leaves, have adventures in the woods, cook over a fire, and play classic camp games. We provide transportation to and from camp. The buses leave from the John & Fay Menard Tennis Center at 9:00AM Friday and return at 4:00PM Sunday. Click here to register.
