School Group Programs

Visiting school or daycare groups will benefit from a rich learning experience that can supplement classroom curricula and state learning standards. Depending on your group’s age range and time of visit, we offer two scheduling options. K-5 school groups can elect to participate in a paid guided program through one of our Explorer School Programs. Groups that do not fall within this age range or cannot attend during our available program times can schedule a self-guided visit of the outdoor gardens and/or Bolz Conservatory. LITTLE SPROUTS

Little Sprouts Gardening classes take place outdoors in the Children's Kitchen Garden where participants listen to a story, water plants, dig in the soil, and engage in hands-on learning activities. Ages 2-5 years with an adult.

Youth & Family Programs

Family classes provide an opportunity for children and adults to learn and discover together. Classes take place both indoors and in the outdoor gardens. Most classes begin with storytelling and include hands-on activities and a craft project. Some classes include an allergen-free snack. Ages 5-11 years with an adult.
