In the charming state of Wisconsin, nestled between twinkling Lake Michigan and the grand Mississippi River, there's a merry group of kids who've discovered a magical secret. You see, these kids aren't just any kids, they are part of the "Wisco Warbler Crew", known for their enchanting vocal abilities. Meet their brave leader, Squeaky Cheese, a cool, imaginary character with a head shaped like a huge piece of Wisconsin cheddar. Squeaky Cheese isn't just silly and fun (although, he does love a good knock-knock joke). He's also got a voice so smooth it could make a cow dance. Equipped with a microphone made from the finest corn cob, he guides the Wisco Warblers through their melodic adventures. These kids, from the shores of Green Bay to the bustling streets of Milwaukee, Madison, and beyond, gather together to create the most harmonious and peppy tunes that ever filled the Wisconsin air. Their harmonies are so contagious that the cows in the dairy farms often moo in tune, and it's said that the cheese produced on singing-cow farms is the creamiest ever tasted! The Wisco Warblers are a quirky and diverse mix of kids. Some, like Little Miss Milwaukee, can hit notes so high that they could wake a hibernating badger. Others, like the Green Bay Bass Boy, can belt out melodies so deep that they could stir the sleeping waters of Lake Superior. No matter the voice, each child is an integral part of the choir, contributing their unique sound to the magical music that echoes throughout the state. With laughter, music, and a lot of cheese, the Wisco Warblers and their fearless leader Squeaky Cheese, keep the spirit of Wisconsin alive through their enchanting song. Because in Wisconsin, singing isn't just a hobby - it's an adventure!

Madison Youth Choirs (MYC) was founded in 2003, when two choirs merged to become one. Each year, MYC serves over 1,000 young people, ages 7-18, and over 20,000 audience members with many different choral programs. MYC's goal is to inspire self-confidence, personal responsibility, and a spirit of inquiry in its students, helping them to become "expert noticers." The organization also collaborates with various local organizations to break down barriers to music education. MYC welcomes a diverse group of singers that reflects the multiculturalism of the community.
