    The Playhouse & Performing Arts Academy is located in the historic Masonic Lodge in the heart of downtown Hartland. Our 82-seat black box theatre, scenic, paint, and costume shops, and The Playhouse Performing Arts Academy provide an inspiring venue for the creative minds of Lake Country. Our season brings a diverse array of performances and events including compelling dramas, powerful classics, full scale musicals, an annual production of A Christmas Carol, and exceptional youth programs. Our Board of Directors is committed to providing innovative and entertaining programming that educates, inspires, and unites the community.

    THEATRE MASTERCLASS CAMPS (Ages 10+)

    Comedy, sword fighting & jazz hands…OH MY! Masterclass students mix it up, diving deeper into storytelling through a new theatrical medium each week. The result? hilarious skits, epic silent scenes & ingenious musical mashups. Concludes with a short-performance on Friday of each week.

    MINI MUSICAL CAMPS

    Take center stage in a week-long musical theatre adventure where students explore songs and scenes from our favorite musicals! Concludes with a short-performance on Friday of each week.

    TECHNICAL THEATRE CAMPS ( Ages 10+)

    Join the crew! Students get their hands messy in paint, prop, costume and set building workshops for Willy Wonka Kids and Matilda Jr.. PLUS, our June “techies” work together to design, build and present a theatrically themed float for the Hartland Hometown Celebration Parade on *June 25th 12:30-3pm (Techies will participate in Hartland Parade). NO CAMP Friday June 23
