About The First Tee of South Puget Sound
First Tee is an organization dedicated to the development of youngsters. Our mission is to provide children with the necessary tools to develop strong characters, empowering them to face various challenges that they may encounter throughout their lifetime. Our unique approach involves seamlessly integrating the game of golf, a sport known to require high levels of discipline and focus, with our life skills curriculum.
We believe that learning should be dynamic and engaging. This is why we integrate golf into our curriculum, creating an active learning environment. This helps in the development of inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience in the children we mentor. These are qualities that are not only beneficial on the golf course but also in every aspect of their lives.
At First Tee, we are committed to Building Game Changers. We aim at transforming the lives of kids through our junior golf programs. We strive to instill in them the values and skills that will not only make them excellent golfers but will also prepare them for the ups and downs of life. We believe that the lessons they learn on the golf course can be translated into their everyday lives, empowering them to become confident, resilient individuals.
