About Learning Sprout Toys

Since its establishment in November 1996, Learning Sprout, an educational supply store, has been a haven for knowledge and fun. Originally started as an educational supply store, we relocated to our current location at 809 Pacific Ave in Tacoma's Historic/Theater district in February 1998. Our store, situated in a charming 100-year-old brick building, has since evolved to include an array of entertaining and educational toys. Our two-story establishment spans approximately 7,000 square feet, and within this space, we house an extensive range of quality, affordable specialty toys, educational games, puzzles, workbooks, flashcards, children's books, and so much more! We've taken great care to ensure we have something for everyone, providing a rich variety of options that cater to different interests and learning styles. At Learning Sprout, we are committed to fostering a sense of community and making shopping a fun experience for our little clients. We host a variety of free events and activities, and throughout the store, you'll find interactive play stations for your "Lil Sprouts" to enjoy while you shop. When you sign up to receive our emails, you'll be updated about these events. As a token of appreciation for the unwavering support of our customers, we offer exclusive sales to those registered with us. We also have a birthday club, birthday party packages, and offer free gift wrapping. For additional savings, don't forget to pick up a stamp card. And, of course, make sure to ask for a free balloon for your "Lil Sprout" during your visit.

Birthdays parties and events

Learning Sprout Toys is not just a paradise of playthings but also a wonderful venue for birthday parties and special events. We can comfortably host a party of 8 children, with a maximum capacity of 12 kids. Parties are held between 11 am and 5 pm, subject to availability, and run for a total of 90 minutes. To make the birthday child feel extra special, we offer 10% off any gift when you register the party with us. For the safety of all attendees, we do ask that children are supervised in the party room until the end of the event and pickup. We have three exciting birthday packages to choose from, each requiring an additional refundable $50.00 cleaning deposit at the time of booking. The Sprout Package, priced at $99.00, includes two activities (one game and one arts & crafts project or two games), pre and post-party cleaning by our staff, six latex and one Mylar happy birthday balloons. Parents are asked to bring all necessary items and set up the room themselves. For each additional child, there is a small $2.00 extra charge. For those looking for a little more, we offer the Rainbow Package at $149.00. This package includes everything from the Sprout Package, plus plates, napkins, cups, goody bags and we'll even decorate the party room for you. Any extra child is an additional $4.00. If you're looking for the ultimate party experience, consider The Whole Shebang! For $199.00, we provide everything from the Rainbow Package, plus pizza, cupcakes, and sprite (for children only). Any additional child in this package incurs a fee of $25.00.
