Welcome to the wondrous world of Vermont, an expansive wonderland where mighty green mountains kiss the sky, and endless forests hide secrets that only the bravest explorers can uncover. Here, trees whisper tales of old, and rivers sing lullabies to the beautiful flowers that pepper the land. This is a place where nature reigns supreme, and the word 'boring' is as extinct as a dodo bird. 

Now, meet our daring, Vermont hiking kid heroes. Leading the pack is "Trailblazer Timmy," a ten-year-old with a knack for finding the most magical, hidden trails. He has a compass that, funny enough, always points towards adventure. There's "Boulder Bella," a little girl with a massive heart, and even more massive strength. She can lift heavy boulders like they're pebbles – a handy skill when creating pathways or impressing squirrels. Don't forget "Wildflower Wally," the one with a magical nose. One sniff, and he can tell you how close you are to a patch of wildflowers, or a muddy swamp. It's always a 50-50 chance.

Together, they explore the vast greenery of Vermont, living out wild fairy tales only the bravest dare to venture. They scramble up rocky hills, tiptoe through whispering forests, and plunge their boots into the fresh, crisp streams. Their laughter echoes through the valleys as they search for their next extraordinary discovery. Each day is a new chapter in their endless adventure book, and every evening, they return home, their eyes sparkling with the day's tales, ready to rest up for tomorrow's escapades. In Vermont, these kids aren't just kids; they're the fearless conquerors of the great outdoors!

Welcome to the wonderful world of Swift Nature Camp an overnight camp for boys and girls ages 6-15 located in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin. 

 I’m Lonnie, the Camp Director, and I’m thrilled to share what makes SNC such a special place for kids and families alike. For nearly 30 years, our mission has been to create an environment where children can grow, discover, and make lifelong memories. Here at camp, we focus on friendship, personal development, and a deep connection to nature—all in a fun, supportive, and adventurous setting. All this without cell phones
One of the things that sets Swift Nature Camp apart is our focus on fostering independence and confidence. Whether it’s trying a new activity like canoeing, taking on a leadership role in a group project, or simply navigating life away from home, camp provides endless opportunities for personal growth. We celebrate each camper’s unique personality and encourage them to step outside their comfort zone in a safe and nurturing way. Seeing kids gain new skills and pride in their accomplishments is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

For our youngest campers, Discovery Camp is an especially magical experience. Designed only for first-time campers ages 6-12, this shorter program gives kids a chance to experience the joys of camp life in a way that’s just right for them. It’s amazing to watch these kids try new things—from learning about the natural world to singing campfire songs—and leave camp with big smiles and even bigger stories to tell. Discovery Camp is often the beginning of a long and cherished relationship with SNC, and we’re so proud to see those first-time campers grow into confident and capable young people.

Another cornerstone of Swift Nature Camp is our connection to the environment. We believe that nature isn’t just a backdrop for camp; it’s a teacher, a playground, and a source of endless wonder. Through hands-on activities like pond studies, wildlife observation, and outdoor adventures, campers develop an appreciation for the natural world that stays with them long after camp ends. The Camp Zoo is always a favorite, campers can even adopt a pet while at camp.Our goal is to inspire kids to become curious, mindful stewards of the environment.

At Swift Nature Camp, there’s never a dull day! With hundreds of land and water activities, campers are always engaged and excited. On land, some favorites include the Lego Cabin, Arts & Crafts, Archery, and exploring the Nature Center. On the water, campers learn Canoeing, Fishing, and Swimming, but the absolute favorites are Tubing behind the boat and jumping off the Water Trampoline. Never is there a dull day because every day is packed with fun, adventure, and opportunities to try something new.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the amazing friendships that form here. SNC is a place where kids truly feel like they belong. Campers and counselors alike bring warmth, kindness, and enthusiasm to everything we do, creating a strong sense of community. Whether it’s cheering each other on during a game, collaborating on a creative project, or sharing laughs around the campfire, the bonds formed at Swift Nature Camp are something truly special.

Camp Hochelaga is an American Camp Association accredited camp that offers a variety of overnight, day camp, and leadership development programs. These activities are designed to help build character, self-esteem, self-confidence, empowerment, and leadership. We prioritize social, emotional, and physical safety to ensure that campers have the best experience possible. Our campers have the opportunity to explore a range of activities and make lasting friendships, while having fun and learning important values like collaboration, kindness, leadership, and empowerment. With an emphasis on these core values, Camp Hochelaga provides an unforgettable experience.

YWCA VT Camp Hochelaga

Keewaydin Dunmore is a summer camp like no other, located on beautiful Lake Dunmore in the heart of the Green Mountains in Vermont. Boys ages 8-16 return year after year for the magic of a Keewaydin summer. Campers come from across the US and international locations, representing different religions, races, cultural backgrounds, and socio-economic backgrounds. Each boy is valued for who they are.

The camp is divided into four “wigwams” (i.e. age groups): Annwi for 8-10-year-olds, Waramaug for 10-12-year-olds, Wiantinaug for 12-14-year-olds and Moosalamoo for 14-16 year olds. Each wigwam has its own living area and waterfront as shown on the illustrated map. Activities and trips are done primarily by wigwam, but the camp also comes together to eat and participate in activities and events.

Established in 1910, Keewaydin Dunmore is one of the most established camps in the country and has long been at the forefront of the American camping movement. Its rich in-camp activity program and extensive trip program provide a summer camp experience that cannot be found anywhere else!

Nestled in the heart of Vermont, Songadeewin, or “Songa” as it’s known to campers and staff, is a place where girls from 2nd to 9th grade can explore their independence. With its unique combination of in-camp program and overnight wilderness journeys, girls can make lifelong friendships and learn to be strong of heart.

The Songadeewin experience is a near century old tradition of play and personal exploration and provides fun-filled days full of adventure. Campers can take part in activities like canoeing, hiking, and learning new skills that will leave a lasting impression on their lives.

From the first hello to the last goodbye, Songa girls create memories that will stay with them forever. Whether they’re playing games, making crafts, or exploring the outdoors, everyone who comes to Songadeewin will take a piece of this special place with them when they go.

Farm & Wilderness summer camps offer a unique and secluded getaway in the beautiful woods of Vermont. With 4,800 acres of mountains, lakes, and forests, campers can explore activities such as hiking, canoeing, rock climbing, organic farming, carpentry and the arts. These activities provide campers with the chance to learn important life skills such as teamwork and problem solving, all while creating lasting memories. The camps provide a supportive environment for youth to explore a life that is simple, rugged and exciting.

Camp Dudley & Kiniya have been nurturing boys and girls for over 130 years. Located on the beautiful Adirondack Mountains in New York and the tranquil shores of Lake Champlain in Vermont, the camp provides a unique opportunity for children to develop their physical, spiritual, and leadership abilities. Our 146-acre property has grown from 6 campers in 1919 to 170 campers per session today. Through our balanced program of arts, athletics, outdoor exploration, and spirituality, we give children the chance to gain confidence and build character. We also provide a safe, electronics-free environment where children can make lifelong memories and form authentic friendships.

For over a century, Aloha Foundation has provided campers with a unique experience filled with fun, friendship, and a chance to unplug from the distractions of everyday life. Through meaningful conversations, creative music-making, and plenty of outdoor exploration, campers enjoy a simple yet thrilling environment nestled between a lake and a beautiful hillside. 

Aloha Foundation offers several different camps which are the perfect way to create lasting memories. Day camps like Horizons and Hulbert are designed for kids in kindergarten through 7th grade, while Hive and Lanakila provide overnight programs for girls and boys in 3rd to 8th grades. Aloha is an overnight summer camp for 7th to 10th grade girls. For families, there’s Ohana, a summer program for people of all ages, and Hulbert, with either a New Year’s or summer program. 

At Aloha Foundation, campers discover a world of joy, laughter, and adventure. With an ever-growing range of programs and activities, Aloha Foundation is the perfect place to make lifelong friends and lasting memories.

For more than 65 years, Lotus Lake Day Camp has been a beloved institution in Central Vermont, providing a tradition of day camping for children between the ages of 5 and 14. Situated in a rural setting, campers are able to enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities, from swimming and boating to arts and crafts and more. The camp has been voted “Best of the Best Camps” by the Times Argus for several years in a row, and it is often referred to as a “real Vermont camp.” 

The camp is situated on 300 acres of diverse habitat surrounding the 16-acre lake, Cutter Pond. The land is home to hiking trails, playing fields, a low-ropes course, lean-to’s, a recreation barn, multiple shelters, and one with bathhouses. A winterized meeting room is also available for campers to use during the colder months. Lotus Lake Day Camp provides a safe and welcoming environment for children to learn, grow, and have fun!

At our camp, we foster an environment of acceptance and celebration of individual differences. Our campers learn to collaborate and work together in our community. During their stay, they'll have the opportunity to hone their musical talents by playing guitar and piano, and singing. They'll also have the chance to take part in outdoor activities like swimming, learning outdoor living skills, and participating in work projects. Additionally, they can explore the wilderness and gain a greater appreciation of each other by going on rock climbing, hiking, and canoeing trips. Our campers will also have plenty of time to appreciate the natural world. All of these activities are guided to help build their confidence, from 3-day to 6-day trips.

Saltash Mountain Camp

Hulbert Outdoor Center’s School Programs offer unique educational experiences for children and teachers from public and private schools. Last year, over 2,000 children from over 60 schools participated in the center’s programs. Since 1978, HOC has been providing transformational programming to 7,000 people annually, helping them to build personal growth, self-reliance, confidence, cooperation, and a sense of community. The Program Director, Ross Cannon, has led many adventures for adults, teens, and children. 

The Hulbert Outdoor Center provides a top-notch educational experience to children and teachers from both public and private schools. Through a variety of programs, the Center has been able to serve over 2,000 children from more than 60 schools each year. For the past four decades, the Center’s programs have been designed to encourage personal growth, self-reliance, confidence, cooperation, and a sense of community. Under the direction of Program Director Ross Cannon, Hulbert Outdoor Center has offered a wide range of activities for adults, teens, and children, creating a safe and positive environment for learning and exploration.

We dedicate 20% of our sessions to learning, so you can always stay updated with the latest crafting techniques.

Get ready to create and network as these form the bulk of our sessions, a whopping 70%! You'll have plenty of opportunities to bring your imaginative ideas to life and also meet fellow craft lovers. Through our Girls Empowerment Program, we provide an incredible opportunity for girls to take the lead and shine. Our unique program teaches campers the skills they need to become independent, confident, and strong leaders. Girls will learn the importance of self-advocacy, decision-making, communication, and collaboration. 

Camp Farwell has been providing a unique and empowering summer camp experience for over 130 years. Our campers have the opportunity to take part in activities ranging from traditional camp activities like swimming, sailing and outdoor exploration, to specialized programs such as our popular camp orchestra.
