SOCAPA, the School of Creative and Performing Arts, is the perfect place for teens to explore their creative passions. With camps for ages 13 to 19, these students have the opportunity to make films, dance, and take fashion shoots in some of the world's most iconic locations. At SOCAPA, teens can combine their artistic expression with the fun of summer camp. From making films in Lake Champlain to hip-hop videos under the Brooklyn Bridge and fashion shoots in Venice Beach, students are sure to have an unforgettable summer. Filmmaking camps

SOCAPA mixes the best of elite film programs and exciting summer camps. Nowhere else will you find this level of filmmaking intensity combined with this much fun. Filmmakers and writers of all levels can also hone their skills in one of our Screenwriting intensives.

Dance camps

With an emphasis on technique development and choreography, SOCAPA's summer dance camps encourage young dancers to explore dance in a way they may never have before and to grow their technique, their confidence, and their love of dance through rigorous training, insightful movement workshops, and a non-competitive dance experience.

Focuses on developing songwriting and musical performance skills. Vocalists and musicians all create their own original songs during the program, and are introduced to the professional workflow of music production — from song conception and developing their artistic sound, to music videos and professional recording sessions!
