Every day, they gather at Sportsfield, a place so full of laughter, energy, and wild escapades that even the armadillos pause to watch. Yes, these kids, known as the 'Sportsfield Bandits,' are as Texas-tough and fun-loving as they come.

Meet Billy "The Dynamo" Dawson, a ten-year-old with a cowboy hat permanently perched on his head. He can toss a football faster than a roadrunner fleeing from a coyote. Sally "Twinkle Toes" Anderson dances around soccer opponents with the grace of a prancing prairie pony. And let's not forget about the 'Griffin Twins,' Ricky and Vicky, who can hit a baseball right over the Rio Grande. These kids are the heart and soul of Sportsfield.

The Bandits play under the watchful eye of their coach, Mr. Tumbleweed, a tumbleweed turned human by an old Texan wizard for his love of sports. He wears cowboy boots that are a size too large and a hat wider than any of the longhorns. Mr. Tumbleweed’s mustache, as wild as a West Texas wind, twitches in delight every time the Bandits score a point. His laughter, as hearty as a southwestern barbecue, resonates throughout Sportsfield, encouraging the kids to have as much fun as they possibly can.

We've made it our mission to be a constant source of engaging Jewish experiences, broadcasting the best of our camp activities to our community, no matter the season.

We're proud to say our programs, both summer and year-round, are firmly rooted in four core Jewish values. First, we emphasize Hineni - being an individual and understanding one's unique worth. URJ Greene Family Camp

For over six decades, the Quillian Center has been a haven for children looking to enjoy a memorable summer camp experience. Nestled in the heart of Houston's vibrant westside, Camp Quillian has won the hearts of the Westchase District community, becoming the most popular choice for a summer camp. Accredited by the American Camp Association, we offer day camp services for children aged 5-12 and a special Teen Camp for those aged 13-14. With flexible camp hours running from 8AM to 6:30PM, we provide an experience that is both enjoyable and convenient.

We understand that each family's schedule differs, and as such, we are pleased to offer half-day options for both morning and afternoon sessions. Morning half-day campers are welcome to join us as soon as our doors open, where they can partake in specialty camps and grand assemblies. These campers can be picked up at the end of their lunchtime. Our afternoon half-day campers begin their adventure at 1PM, participating in facility rotations, special events, and daily swimming opportunities. Pick up time for these campers is 6:30PM when our camp closes.

Camp Quillian is not only about fun, but also about diverse activities that keep children engaged. We boast a host of resources including a gymnasium, two swimming pools, an indoor climbing wall, game rooms, athletic fields, and a playground. Our programs are designed to cater to a variety of interests, from indoor and outdoor sports to enrichment classes, arts and crafts, special events, guest speakers, and games. We even host a Vacation Bible Camp! This summer, we're going for gold as we celebrate the 2024 Summer Olympics. Since 1947, we have been offering a unique residential camping experience for individuals with disabilities. At Camp Summit, we focus on what our campers can do, rather than what they can't. We offer a variety of traditional camp activities, all of which are adapted to each individual's needs and abilities. Our facilities are completely barrier-free, and our staff is not only well-trained, but also deeply caring. Campers are grouped by age, allowing them to build friendships within their peer groups, all while having a great time and embarking on new adventures.

Situated on a beautiful 460-acre plot in Paradise, Texas, just north of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, Camp Summit is the ideal location for a safe and fun camping experience. We are proud to be accredited by the American Camp Association and licensed as a Youth Camp in the State of Texas. Our campers may have physical challenges, developmental delays, dual-sensory impairments, or multiple disabilities. However, we welcome all campers, regardless of the severity of their disabilities, as long as we can medically meet their needs.

We fully understand the concerns you may have about your child's safety and well-being, which is why we have an on-site medical staff and up-to-date nursing facilities. This private girls' summer camp caters to young ladies aged 6-16 and is the pride and joy of the Ragsdale family who own and operate it with absolute dedication. We warmly extend an invitation to you to become part of this extraordinary environment, abundant with merriment, education, and the enchanting essence of youth-filled summers.

At Heart O' the Hills, we have meticulously designed our program with an emphasis on fostering personal growth and character development. Our mission is to empower girls with self-confidence, promote teamwork, and nurture leadership skills. Moreover, we strive to champion individuality, motivation, and resilience. We are more than just a summer camp; we are a nurturing community, dedicated to encouraging personal growth and development.

Our camp offers diverse 2- and 4-week overnight sessions, packed with over 50 instructional activities. We seamlessly blend traditional camp activities with unique ones, from English and western horseback riding, Red Cross swimming lessons, a variety of team and individual sports, to archery, riflery, tennis, cooking, fencing, rock climbing, video production, and wilderness survival. We're planning to share stories, photos, and precious memories spanning nine decades, and we'd be thrilled if you joined us. The Camp Fire Camp El Tesoro, established in 1934, has been a welcoming haven for generations of campers, with its iconic swinging bridge being a memorable landmark for many.

El Tesoro, which translates to "The Treasure" in Spanish, is a 223-acre sanctuary nestled between Fall Creek and the Brazos River in Granbury, Texas. Our camp offers a breathtaking panorama of the serene river and the vast open spaces of the blackland prairie. Our natural terrain and indigenous landscape offer our visitors a much-needed respite from the hustle and bustle of the modern world. This idyllic oasis currently hosts co-ed overnight campers, day campers, grief campers, teachers, students keen on learning about nature, and groups seeking to foster connection and indulge in outdoor adventures.

In 2010, Camp Fire First Texas launched a Capital Campaign aimed at renovating and upgrading the facilities at Camp El Tesoro. This initiative is essential to ensure that the enchanting spirit of the camp continues to be enjoyed by future generations. We're committed to preserving and enhancing the magic of Camp El Tesoro, enriching the lives of campers for many years to come.

At the Texas Lions Camp, we view camp as a golden ticket for kids to explore the unexplored, kindle their curious minds, and discover new passions and skills. We inspire our young campers to step out of their comfort zones and take on exciting challenges that they might generally avoid, such as horseback riding, rock climbing, or simply relishing the pure joy of being part of a team.
