About Eastside Family YMCA in Taylors, SC

For more than a hundred years, the YMCA of Greenville has been a pillar of strength in the community. We embrace and celebrate the diversity of our population and are passionate about our promise to be a force for good. Our YMCA membership and programs provide a variety of services to people from all walks of life in the Greenville County area. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit governed by a local board of volunteer directors. The YMCA of Greenville is dedicated to helping our youth reach their full potential through Youth Development, encouraging Healthy Living and promoting Social Responsibility. We strive to create opportunities for our members to give back to the community and support their neighbors.

We know that coordinating your family's schedule can be challenging. That's why the Y provides child watch as a free benefit for your family members at one of our Family branches. You can bring your kids to engage in fun and healthy age-appropriate activities while you work out, take a group exercise class, or swim laps!

2022/23 Childcare & After School

Learn, grow, and thrive in our YMCA Afterschool program, offered for K5 - 8th grades! During Afterschool, we'll provide homework assistance, enrichment activities, and a healthy snack. To begin attending our Afterschool program, participants must register no later than Wednesday (of the previous week) to be added to the roster the following Monday.

School Holiday Childcare

When school's out, we have a fun and exciting alternative for your kids! We call them, "School's Out Special" days! We follow the Greenville County School System operating calendar to determine our service dates.
