Once upon a time, tucked away in the southern charm of the United States lay a magical realm known as South Carolina, or SC as the cool kids called it. In SC, the sun smiles a little brighter, the grass grows a little greener, and the ocean waves seem to dance a little more joyfully. The kids who lived here were not just ordinary kids, oh no! These were superhero kids, zipping around in their capes of courage, harnessing the power of positivity and determination. Now, every superhero needs their training ground, right? Well, for the super-kids of SC, their special arena was the Physical Therapy Center, or PTC as they liked to call it. Here they would gather, working on their strength, flexibility, and speed - all crucial elements to amplify their superpowers. And overseeing this transformation was none other than the legendary Sir Laff-a-Lot, a jolly, fun-loving creature with an infectious laugh. He was short and round with rosy cheeks, a bushy mustache that bounced with laughter, and twinkling eyes full of mischief and merriment. He was the head coach at PTC, using his magical abilities to make exercises fun, creating an atmosphere of giggles and high-fives. Every day, these amazing kids would gather round Sir Laff-a-Lot, laughing and playing while they perfected their superhero skills. They would swing from magical ropes, fly through obstacle courses, and even do cartwheels through rings of fire, all while their cheerleader - Sir Laff-a-Lot - clapped, cheered, and mostly, rolled around laughing, encouraging them every step of the way. In the marvelous state of SC, these super-kids and Sir Laff-a-Lot proved that with a dash of laughter, a sprinkle of fun, and a whole lot of determination, anything is possible.

At Taylor's First Baptist Church, we believe that it is important to nurture and strengthen our members, so that they are equipped to have a deeper and more meaningful relationship with God and to share the Gospel with the world. We are firmly rooted in the teachings of the Bible and strive to stay true to its fundamental messages. Recently, the disciples of Jesus were invited to join him on a mountain in Galilee. When they arrived, they were filled with awe and reverence, yet some were filled with doubt. Jesus then proclaimed, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” At Taylor's First Baptist Church, we strive to help our members find the courage to face their doubts and worship Jesus with all their hearts. We seek to provide a space where our members can find comfort in knowing that Jesus is the one and only authority, and that He is always with us.
