With every sunrise, Rhythm Rooster wakes up the Dancing Dynamos with a "cock-a-doodle-doo" and a hip-hop tune. He believes that every day in SC is a perfect day for dancing. From the Beach Boogie on the sandy shores of Myrtle Beach to the Charleston Chassé at historic downtown Charleston, these kids are always ready to express their joy, their energy, and their love for their beautiful state through dance. For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
At Taylor's First Baptist Church, we believe that it is important to nurture and strengthen our members, so that they are equipped to have a deeper and more meaningful relationship with God and to share the Gospel with the world. We are firmly rooted in the teachings of the Bible and strive to stay true to its fundamental messages. Recently, the disciples of Jesus were invited to join him on a mountain in Galilee. When they arrived, they were filled with awe and reverence, yet some were filled with doubt. Jesus then proclaimed, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” At Taylor's First Baptist Church, we strive to help our members find the courage to face their doubts and worship Jesus with all their hearts. We seek to provide a space where our members can find comfort in knowing that Jesus is the one and only authority, and that He is always with us.
