Kindermusik of Charleston

About Kindermusik of Charleston

Sheila Lawson and her team of amazing Kindermusik educators have been providing exceptional music education to children and families in the Charleston area since 1987. All of the teachers are licensed Kindermusik instructors and have completed either a BA or MA degree in music therapy, music education, music performance or elementary education. In addition, our teachers are well-versed in early childhood development through Kindermusik International. At Kindermusik, we recognize that parents play a significant role in helping their children reach their full potential. That’s why we focus on creating an environment that encourages parents and children to explore music together. Our goal is to nurture the joy of music for children of all ages, from newborns through six years old, and to help them develop holistically. We strive to promote cognitive, physical, social, emotional, linguistic and musical development.
